As I was waiting outside of State Farm Arena for an Uber with some of my friends after a Hawks game, I couldn’t help but stand in complete awe of all of the tiny yet beautiful moments going on around me. A child danced around in circles after her mom bought her a light-up spinning toy. A group of friends walking by, all arm-in-arm, laughing. A mom and her daughter holding hands while they waited on a ride. A man selling LED balloons in the shapes of hearts and unicorns dancing around in between each sale. A musician singing covers of Frank Ocean. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself from taking a video of that moment. So many fragments of peoples’ lives around me, and I got to take them all in. What a blessing it is to be alive.
