fat tuesday fail

By

Right now I’m in the middle of what they call a ‘hell week.’ Before coming to Georgia Tech I had no clue what it meant and didn’t want to find out either. Basically, it’s when you have multiple tests within the same week. And that’s what I’m in the middle of now. 1 test down, and two more to go.

As a little study break and to celebrate Fat Tuesday, I went to a food truck event with my roommates Shea and Chloe that was hosted by our apartment this afternoon. Little did we know at 2:00PM when we went down to the first floor of the parking deck that we would be waiting there for another hour and a half for snow cones and cheesecake despite being at the front of the line to start. It was “wild…fever dream type wild,” as Shea described it. After it was said and done, I wouldn’t do it again but am going to look back on how random and unforeseen passing time that way was. To satisfy our sweet tooth we had berry cobbler at our sorority house for dessert which resembled some yummy fruit soup because of how warm it was.

In other news, after this ‘hell week’ is over I have some exciting blog posts planned. One that is near to my heart will be how we can take momentum-packed steps towards purifying our intentions and stepping into the personal power we all hold to counteract the evil that has come to light from the tragedy happening across the world in Ukraine right now. I hope that you all are having a great week and remember how awesome you are!!! Talk to you soon.

💘 Hanna
