college through the eyes of photobooth

By

After two long weeks of being out of the office, I am elated to announce that I’m BAAAAACK. Life has been moving full steam ahead lately, so much so that I haven’t even had the time to think of anything worth my time to publish here. Nonetheless, I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane while showing proof of life by sharing the random memories I’ve captured on my MacBook Air through Photobooth. It became a tradition of mine when I started college to take a photo on PhotoBooth to commemorate something noteworthy I was using my laptop for, such as a job interview or exam. Although there are some that I have no recollection of taking, nor what the context surrounding the photo involved, they tell a story worth a thousand words.

The first PhotoBooth photo that was ever taken on this computer, with none other than Ms. Katie Jordan in our GT1000 class. I would like to add that it’s no accident our faces looked so surprised – the countdown sound went off in the middle of the lecture.

I was assigned to make a children’s book in English class and had to record myself reading it as part of our final assignment. Not even the government could get these videos out of me. As for the book, I created a fictitious hairdresser bear with a mullet (any guesses on who it’s after?). Spoiler: my dad was my muse. I gave the book to him as his 49th birthday present.

My face after I got a 14% on a CS exam. You can clearly see the decline in morale.

When I went through a major Danielle by Fred again… phase and played that song whenever I needed to be hyped up. This was taken before a job interview that I’m pretty sure I bombed.

About three personalities and eight hair color sessions later, I present to you the most recent PhotoBooth photo that was taken during a power pose momo and right before a third-round interview marathon. It’s crazy how time flies and all the changes that occur in the in-between. Thank you PhotoBooth for being there to capture it all <3.
