OH my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!!!!

I GOT THE CHANCE TO WEAR A CANADIAN TUX IN CANADA!!!

This experience was never on my bucket list, nor was it on my 2024 bingo card either.

Nonetheless, I am currently in awe of the way that things have been unfolding as of late. Circumstances so perfectly positioned to where I currently want to go and how I want to show up in the world have blended to create these incredible experiences that have come together so seamlessly.

I set out into 2024 with the intention that this would be a year focused on travel in my life, where I’ve prioritized my paychecks on funding flights and trying to visit a different place at least once every two months. Who knew all the different possibilities that could unfold just by holding true to a vision.

Two of my best friends from growing up and I went to Montréal this past weekend for a little fall getaway.

We fell in LOVE with the city très charmant through negronis, wandering around different neighborhoods (Little Portugal and Old Town were two favorites), thrifting, being groupies for small Francophone Indie Pop bands, and trying our best at conjuring any sliver of French that we remembered from elementary school.

How incredible is it that life is unfolding in ways behind the scenes that we couldn’t possibly imagine or have an idea of years, months, or even weeks ago.

This trip was so full circle in that we’ve all become the women in our 20s that we dreamed of being when we were in middle school but are still deep down the girls that we were all those years ago.

So santé to the unexpected shoots along our paths that bring us right back to the people we’ve gotten to walk alongside before, and cheers to the new memories and experiences that get to be created as a result.
