This past Wednesday morning, Columbus received its first snowfall of the year! It was so magical driving into work and seeing all of the trees and ground painted white, and even more magical to look out the window of my office building to see that it stuck throughout the day.

That night, my friends and I had dinner reservations to dine at Jeff Ruby’s in celebration of getting promoted. Although the snow had melted by then, it was still cold enough for us to whip out our fur coats for the occasion.

The food was incredible as always, and we got to catch up on a plethora of podium stories, which is our tradition of sharing the late-breaking news of our lives where each person receives undivided attention through advice and commentary by the “audience.”

And what also made this day so extraordinary is that I felt great throughout the entire duration, on account of this day-to-night outfit I wore. Not only was it super comfortable, but the proportions of each item meshed so well together. The kick-flare pants are a thrift find from Montreal, and they also have ties at the bottom to make small bow accents. I paired them with a simple black turtleneck that I got from Zara last year, Vera Wang heels I bought brand-new from Poshmark, and a vintage Gucci black monogrammed purse.
I hope everyone has a safe, restful, and uplifting Thanksgiving ahead!!
