i’ve never had a Valentine before,

haven’t been in a serious relationship in many years,

and am currently the most single i’ve ever been.

but despite all of those factors,

i don’t feel like i’m missing out on anything,

because of all the incredible people i get to have in my life.

although i’m now open to dating again,

they have set the bar so high with

all of the support provide,

that i can’t imagine letting someone in now

that doesn’t at least meet the love

that they consistently pour into me.

to anyone who is also single and don’t have anyone to celebrate this holiday with,

let it not be lost that love can arrive in many forms other than just romantically,

and that the opportunity to experience the energy of love is always there,

we just have to be open to giving and receiving it.

i hope you were surrounded by the people you love

and were also able to do something you love this week,

and, regardless,
