ahead of our European vacation i decided to finally bite the bullet and get a digital camera. this is something i’ve been wanting to do for over two years but couldn’t rationalize buying since i didn’t have a practical reason for the purchase. after snooping around World of Photography, a local camera retailer in Columbus, i settled on a $40 used Sony Cyber-shot with 3.3 mega pixels. the memory card only allows for 80 photos at a time, so not only has this device been helpful in whimsically capturing memories, but it has made me a lot more intentional with taking pictures. here are a few glimpses into the moments i got to experience while on a two-week hiatus in the U.S. and across the Atlantic.

when one has an eight hour layover in NYC, you have to make the most of it!!! i trained into the city for an iced vanilla matcha from Drip Drop Café and a cinnamon bun from Claude Bakery (it was SO worth it).
