last weekend my roommate Chloe and I had a life-changing experience of visiting a new Korean skincare store located in the Upper East Side, Sukoshi. i’m not sure what was in the air, but it was truly one of the most memorable stores i’ve been to. the vibes were immaculate to say the least. every notable skincare product you’ve heard of in the Korean-beauty realm was there at your fingertips, the playlist was bumping K-Pop, people were walking around with their cute little dogs. i am already looking forward to when i get to go back. i ended up spending enough money to get a free tote bag with my purchase,
so its time to unpack what’s inside the shopping bag.

in an effort to work smarter and not harder with my skincare routine i’ve been on the hunt to find an overnight mask that leaves me looking refreshed in the morning, and this has proven to be the perfect answer.
haruharu wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream
this was our favorite eye cream that we tested in the store. the formulation is so smooth and not sticky like some products in the market. although i haven’t seen any progress in smoothing under eye lines (i’ve only used it for a week so far), i love how it gives me a “je ne sais quoi” look when i’m out and about without makeup on.
getting my nails done is an expense i can’t justify in my life at the moment, but what i can get behind is making the routine of doing my own nails at home more fun by trying out different polishes. i’m in the process of building a nail polish collection that can take me through different seasons, and the “Merlot Wine” and “Springfield Tulips” are two shades that will take me through the colder months.
medicube PDRN Pink Niacinamide Milky Toner
while the rhode Glazing Milk has been on my wishlist for months, my sister Emma has been raving about medicube’s Vitamin C Toner Pads so this purchase was driven by a blend of the two factors. this has been my favorite purchase so far. it provides a glowy base that leaves you hydrated for hours, also making it a great primer for makeup.
#OOTD Triple Hyaluron Acid Serum Glowing Mask
Sukoshi has a “buy 5 get 1 free” deal on sheet masks in store, so obviously Chloe and i had to put it to use.
dasique had countless lip options to choose from; the jelly balms and tints made it hard to narrow in on a choice, but i am so happy that i ended up taking the Pure Water Lip Gloss. this is another item that has a non-sticky formulation and the shade “Misty Rose” is the perfect my-lip-color-but-better shade for everyday wear.
& they say money can’t buy happiness…….
