goals vs. riding the wave of behaving like yourself

By

goals = something that you have to consistently grind towards

being yourself = comes naturally like a reflex

so if you just focus on being yourself, then is there really a need for goals?

i get the practicality of them and how they inherently drive us towards a final destination,

but if the whole point of things is to go through the process phase so we can become the best possible version of ourselves on the other side of it,

then wouldn’t it be more enjoyable to do what creates the most flow?

and doing what we feel compelled to do without having a specific end-goal in mind,

letting life reveal itself to us rather than feeling like there always needs to be a step-by-step plan in place?

from today’s internal monologue.

reminding myself that life shouldn’t feel like a constant struggle against a seemingly endless to-do list. it’s meant to be lived and better yet, enjoyed!!

💘, Hanna
